ITN, IF - What happens to the project if the fellow goes on parental leave?

MSCA-ITN:
REA allows the extension of the employment contract for the duration of the compulsory parental leave on a case by case basis. The extension needs an amendment.
During parental leave the fellow excluselively relies on social security contributions or contributions by his/her employer. If necessary, REA also allows the extension of the duration of the grant agreement resulting from the extension of an individual employment contract so that the fellow can complete his/her training.

MSCA-IF:
In case of parental leave of a fellow, the beneficiary can request to suspend the Grant Agreement for the whole duration of the parental leave (not limited to the compulsory rule) so that the effective duration of the fellowship remains the same.
