The MSCA explained by your National Contact Points
RISE: In the Q&A section is written: Q28: “Only staff members who have been actively engaged in or linked to research and/or innovation activities at the sending organisation for at least six months prior to the first period of secondment can be seconded.” Does this also includes persons that worked in the organisation for at least 6 months within the framework of writing a master thesis, i.e. before obtaining the MA degree? Would this experience make them eligible for secondment?
Staff shall be active 6 months prior to the secondment. Therefore if a master student is considered by local/national law as staff of the sending organisation, s/he is therefore eligible.
