IF 2015: When will I receive my results?

A letter and the Evaluation Summary Report of the call MSCA-IF-2015 will be sent out from the 22nd of January 2016 on to the coordinators (not the fellow, but the supervisor). Please also check the Spam filter. Additionally, a ´formal notification` via the Participant Portal, informs the participants of the results. In the case of main list proposals (=retained for funding), applicants receive the Grant Information Letter to invite them to the grant agreement preparation phase.

This first phase of information about the outcome is supplied by REA to the applicants (coordinators) within 5 months after the call closure and after the Program Committee MSCA configuration and the NCPs have been informed.

The so-called Call Flash Information will be published approximately 2 working days after the last Evaluation Summary Report has been sent out to fellows. This is basic statistics on the outcome of the call. It is published by REA on the Participant Portal at the same time when the applicants are informed about the evaluation results or soon after.

The next step will be, in case of a proposal retained for funding, the invitation to the "Grant Preparation Phase" (again, an emailed letter to the coordinator) which is a mainly administrative process and lasts up to 3 months. It has to be completed before you can start your project.

In case a proposal is not retained for funding and above the threshold of 70%, the possibility exists that it will be on the reserve list. It can take up to one year to receive notification if the proposal will still get funded or not. NCPs are able to give you an estimation about the chance of the proposal still being funded.

A new IF-Call will open on 12.4.2016 with a deadline on 14.9.2016. In case your proposal was not successful and you still comply with the (mobility) rule, you can apply again without restrictions.

A redress procedure is in principle possible, but please take note that a re-evaluation is very rare and is only considered if you can point out that mistake has been made in the evaluation process. Disagreement with the expert evaluators' opinion is not ground for redress. In many cases, it makes more sense to concentrate on a re-submission instead of the redress. NCPs are able to advise about redress and re-submission.

For orientation, please find here last year's (IF-2014) funding thresholds (these give an indication if your score will be enough to be retained for funding. Usually, as the number of submitted proposals increases and the budget not, the scores are higher every year).
